How to Place an Order
Catering orders will include all necessary utensils and condiments in quantities consistent with your order. Please note: many of our orders will include disposable packaging. We may not be back to remove used packaging. We will return to pick up non-disposable hot beverage containers.
Bon Appétit Catering at Penn has a $500 per day minimum for delivery for all orders taking place outside of ULSE (University Life Space & Events) buildings. and $2500 for weekend orders. ULSE buildings include: The Arch, Houston Hall and Irvine Auditorium.
Menu items or packages are based on minimum orders. We are happy to accommodate smaller groups, however, final billing will be based on actual costs incurred, not based on the prices quoted in this guide. Per person prices listed may not cover actual costs for smaller groups.
We understand that last-minute changes can occur and will do our best to accommodate them. However, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible of any changes or cancellations. As all of our food is prepared to order, cancellations or changes made within 72 business hours of the event may be billed in full.
Due to our open kitchens that handle all major 9 allergens, we cannot guarantee that items are “free” of eggs, wheat, dairy, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish and/or shellfish. we make every effort to avoid cross-contact of major 9 allergens; however there is always the potential for cross-contact in our open kitchens and self-serve facilities. we encourage clients to speak with our sales associates with ingredient questions and additional consultation.
Final counts must be guaranteed 5 business days prior to the event. If a final guarantee is not received, we will consider the number indicated in the original order, or the latest count, to be correct. The guarantee is not subject to reduction after the deadline. Billing is based on the final count. No-shows and cancellations within 72 hours of the event will be charged for the full price of the event.
Cancellations must be made at least 72 business hours prior to the event to avoid penalties. Failure to do so may result in charges, including the full food costs.
Bon Appétit Catering at Penn welcomes last-minute orders; however, they are subject to availability. If fulfilling a last-minute request requires special product orders, any additional costs incurred will be charged to the client.
To have your order delivered, we require a minimum $500 purchase. Our catering attendants will unpack and set-up your order at your requested location. Off campus deliveries are subject to an additional delivery charge: to be determined by sales manager at point of sale.
